Targeted Proteomics Strategies – Skyline, DDA and DIA/SWATH

The Pre-Lorne Workshop sponsored by SCIEX and the Australasian Proteomics Society was held from 29-31 January at the University of Melbourne, Parkville, Victoria.

The workshop introduced theoretical and practical concepts in targeted proteomics. Program highlights included: targeted acquisition focusing on selected reaction monitoring (SRM), data dependent acquisition strategies, statistical considerations, label-free quantitation and data independent acquisition (DIA) mass spectrometry (including SWATH-MS), introduction to the targeted proteomic software environment Skyline and hands-on tutorials that demonstrate its functionality for the analysis of SRM, DDA and DIA/SWATH-MS data.

Instructors:
Brendan MacLean – University of Washington, USA
Sandi Spencer – University of Washington, USA
